Château Jemeppe is located in Hargimont, a quiet village in the Belgian Ardennes region, between Namur and Bastogne. The complex, situated on a hilly estate of some 160 acres, is easy to reach, at less than an hour’s drive from Brussels center and the international airport at Zaventem.

The castle is surrounded by a moat. Beyond that there are beautifully landscaped gardens, woods and streams. There is also an enclosed tennis court and an indoor swimming pool.

Ideal location for very relaxed meetings, as well as engaging team competitions, both outdoor and indoor!

The “Wieliczka” Salt Mine, listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage, is Poland’s oldest business venture, one of its most valuable monuments of material and spiritual culture. Today, the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine combines many centuries of tradition and modernity, the history of of more than 700 years and an underground metropolis with extensive infrastructure.

The rich rock salt deposit in Wieliczka was formed more than a dozen million years ago.

And salt has been an inseparable companion of humankind: not only enriched the flavour of food, but the purse of merchants trading in it

Salt is present in many traditional sayings “Vitae sal amicita – Friendship is the salt of life” Romans proclaimed in the past, and still today the Polish – to know somebody, you must eat a barrel of salt together!

The “Wieliczka” Salt Mine boasts 8 chambers carved in salt during the Middle Ages: a unique venue for most elegant gala dinners, private events and concerts.

Capacity of each chamber ranges from 30 to 700 people, according to the different set ups.

“Miners’ route” team-building activity. Covered in working clothes and armed with mining equipment descending  into the darkness by the oldest existing mine shaft, the Regis guided by the light of their mining lamps: guests become novice miners and start to learn the basics of this demanding profession. To each of them is attributed a specific mining task by the guide, known at the mine as the Foreman, who will carefully evaluate their execution. Far off the busier Tourist Route, they measure the concentration of methane, dig and transport salt and explore unknown chambers.

Krakow (less than 30 min drive), Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum of Martyrdom and concentration camp (about 40 min drive from Krakow), Wroclaw (about 3 hours’ drive from Krakow) or, at similar distance, Warsaw, the capital of Poland (about 3 hours’ drive from Krakow).
